SCOTTISH Questions in the House of Commons was always a strange affair.
Old Tories who knew nothing about our country would use the occasion to take a pop at us.
All too frequently, they were joined by Labour MPs, who appeared to hate the SNP-run Scottish Government much more than the Conservative Westminster one.
But, unless the rules change soon, Scottish Questions is set to get truly bizarre. David Mundell – the only Tory MP in Scotland and now Secretary of State – will be centre stage.
He will answer six questions from his Labour shadow, representing a party who, like the Tories, command one seat in Scotland.
Meanwhile, the 56 SNP MPs who speak for Scotland will be expected to wait their turn...
