Scotland's future in EU secure

NO Campaign professor, James Crawford, said an independent Scotland would remain in the EU on live radio.

THE big guns of the British state were trained on Scotland yesterday as the Tories and Lib Dems unveiled new “evidence” that we were incapable of running our own affairs.

But the big guns backfired again – just as they did last month when the UK Treasury admitted an independent Scotland would leave us, at most, £1 a year worse off.

Constitutional law experts, such as Professor David Scheffer, said Scotland would negotiate its independence from inside the EU.

But what was really embarrassing for the No Campaign yesterday was their own man, Professor James Crawford, seems to be of the same mind.
