That the Parliament congratulates Hightae Primary School near Lockerbie on, it understands, becoming the first school in Scotland to receive excellent reports in all five ratings categories under new guidelines that take into account the introduction of the Curriculum for Excellence;

understands that the inspection report describes the pupils as being articulate and high-achievers, and welcomes that the report pays tribute to the outstanding leadership of the head teacher, Mrs Judith Jardine, and the teamwork shown by the school’s staff.
