THE paedophile DJ's Glencoe cottage has a proud mountaineering history that should not be sullied by its most recent occupant.
HAMISH MACINNES was the father of mountain rescue.
He invented everything from ice axes to stretchers that are in use around the world today. And he was of the generation that made Scottish mountaineering a sport for ordinary people, not just the landed gentry.
It’s quite right that the Glencoe cottage, right, where he lived in the 70s and 80s – and developed many of his inventions – should be preserved.
